I became interested in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at an early age having experienced the benefits myself as a patient. I sought treatment for some health concerns that were not fully addressed within the scope of mainstream medicine. I felt so much better from the treatment and was fascinated by how it could work. I did a little research on the philosophy and it just clicked for me. I decided I wanted to study it and pursue a career as a practitioner.
What I love most about practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine is that each client that walks into my office has such a unique pattern of health. Each patient's diagnosis and treatment plan is completely individualized, based on an holistic view of balancing the body, mind and spirit.
'Full Bloom' is a peak state that we use to describe flowers, people and other living things when they are vibrant and full of life, energy and beauty. My purpose is to help my clients reach their own peak state of health and well being. This is achieved by using my knowledge, talents and expertise as a practitioner, which includes coaching, education and treatment using acupuncture and herbal medicine. A good rapport is necessary between the patient and practitioner and I believe that my undergraduate training in Psychology has given me the extra skill to listen and communicate effectively with my patients.
When I am not seeing patients, I am actively trying to spread the word and educate the public about the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine by both lecturing and writing.
